Erin Smart is a Seattle native who has dedicated her life to skiing and climbing in the mountains.  She grew up in the Cascades of Washington State and has since traveled and worked in mountain ranges around the world including Norway, Alaska, Himalaya, and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. Erin is a licensed IFMGA Mountain Guide. She has been mountain guiding since 2010, and is also a freelance writer for several outdoor magazines. She is based in La Grave, France.
